The Villas at Pelican Hill
The newly opened Resort at Pelican Hill in Southern California has set a whole new standard for luxury with its two- to four-bedroom villas.
The 128 villas all have ocean views, 24/7 staff of butlers, concierges and housekeepers, as well as a private 10,000-square-foot Villa Clubhouse.
The Villa Clubhouse offers private gourmet dining, a relaxing pool and 10 luxury cabanas.
You get to choose from two-, three- and four-bedroom villas ranging from 2,193 square feet to 3,581 square feet in size.
The interior of the villas has hand-hewn wood beam ceilings, limestone fireplaces, 15-bottle wine cabinets, and gourmet kitchens with Sub Zero refrigerators, Wolf oven and cook-top.
Not that you are expected to cook your own meals, but you can order whatever you want from a personal chef.
Nightly rates for the vilas start at $1,450.
